Join us for a yoga class unlike any other, which incorporates well-being exercises and breath work, inspired by the Inner Axis method. Both physical and emotional trauma can have negative impacts on your health and well-being. Learn to clear the negativity brought on by chronic stress or trauma and obtain a sense of peace. We will explore various breathing techniques and patterns such as sound vibration and body tapping, in an effort to heal, balance, and detox the brain and physical body. These restorative tools will be taught in the workshop as well as how to use them at home on your own. We will conclude with restful meditation for the mind and body.

Curious about meditation but not sure where to start? Come join E-RYT 500 hour yoga teacher Abby Ritter as she shares the core concepts of meditation and learn how to put it all into practice. During this 4-part series you will learn diaphragmatic breath work and be guided through a centering meditation each week with a focus on Intention that will help to create a resting place for mental energies and awareness. Your practice will in turn help to awaken a pervasive inner quietness. The effects of having a meditation practice are boundless and include releasing physical, nervous and mental symptoms of stress and also increases joyfulness, clarity and a deeper awareness within.
