Pre-Licensed Counselor

The most important relationship we have is the one with ourselves. Therapy provides space to reflect on the ways we think, feel, and act, empowering us to know ourselves more deeply, heal more fully, and become the person that we want to be. I believe that healing and growth must welcome and incorporate all facets of ourselves, even the parts with which we have a complicated relationship, and that self-compassion and curiosity are some of the most powerful tools of self-discovery.

I welcome people to show up authentically, offering an environment that is supportive, nonjudgemental, and safe. I am queer, neurodivergent, and nonbinary and have experience working with anxiety, depression, LGBTQIA+ issues, and neurodivergent populations. I am sex/kink positive, body positive (HAES), affirming of nontraditional relationship structures (open relationships/non-monogamy/polyamory), and trauma-informed. I want to empower people to ask for what they need, set boundaries they want, and be kinder to themselves. I have a collaborative, dynamic, body-centered approach to therapy, integrating multiple interventions such as breath and body awareness, mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral techniques, and traditional talk therapy. At times, I may ask you to pause and inquire into what you notice in your body as we conduct our session, and together we may explore the predominant narratives and beliefs which guide your life. Healing and growth look different for every person—I am committed to learning what it looks like for you and working with you to achieve your goals.
