Sometimes we need a safe space to talk. Therapy is an equal relationship. We are both working on the same goal of you living the best quality life for you. That can look different for different people which is why I think it is important to meet the client where he, she, or they are at. We all have a different view of what we want and where we want to be in life. These goals may change over time or may remain the same but the purpose of a therapist is meant to offer support, a view, a different perspective, insight to assist in what you already have in you, are capable of, and have the ability to accomplish and be.

In 2004 I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a BS in Sociology and in 2008 graduated from Carlow University with an MS in Professional Counseling. I obtained my LPC in 2011 and my CCDPD for working with addictions. I have further training and am passionate about working with those with addictions, Trauma and PTSD, and in the LGBTQIA community. I also have special training in the modalities of DBT and EMDR. I have worked with adolescents as young as 4 and adults of all ages, in residential, school, and outpatient settings. I have experience and am comfortable with group, individual, couples, and family sessions.
