Leigha Mansell, LSW
Licensed Social Worker
Therapy can sometimes feel uncomfortable - whether it’s your first session or you’ve been coming for a while. Reaching out for support is a courageous step, and I'm here to walk alongside you with empathy, care, and respect. My goal is to work together to move through that discomfort and create a secure space where growth, self-discovery, and healing can happen.
I focus on creating an approach that centers around you and your strengths, as I believe everyone has their own unique resilience that can help guide the process. I draw from various approaches like Psychodynamic Therapy, which looks at how our pasts influences our present, along with tools from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Holistic Therapy. I also have previous experience working with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, life transitions, boundary setting, family or relationship challenges, perfectionism, and personal/generational trauma processing.
I am a Licensed Social Worker born and raised in Western PA, and have earned both my Master’s and Bachelor's degrees in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh. I am currently working towards an independent clinical license, and am under the direct supervision of Jenna Weidner, LCSW.
I deeply value the uniqueness and diversity of my clients, and am proud to build a welcoming atmosphere where all identities can feel empowered and accepted.
