The road to parenthood is often portrayed as blissful and exciting, but it can also be one of the most challenging transitions in life. It’s a time of significant change and uncertainty, often accompanied by a wide range of emotions. Many women experience fear, guilt, resentment, grief, lack of identity and reduced self-esteem. I’m passionate about mental health during reproduction, pregnancy and parenthood. As a parent I believe we can better care for others when we care for ourselves. Establishing therapy during this season of life is a great way to prioritize your health and well-being.

I believe everyone is unique, and I tailor my approach to your individual needs. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you feel genuinely important and cared for. My goal is to help you gain a greater understanding of yourself and how to cope with your own unique challenges. My approach is derived from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based therapy. I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) which can be used to address distressing or traumatic events that have occurred and how you respond to future events.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have a Bachelors in Rehabilitation Science from Clarion University. I earned my Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Pittsburgh. I have worked with a wide variety of populations over the years. I have extensive experience in treating anxiety, depression, grief, PTSD, addiction, perinatal/postpartum mood disorders, infertility, birth trauma and neonatal loss. I am an LGBTQ+ ally.
