In therapy, we are able to honor ourselves and our experiences. As such, my primary goal is to provide you with a safe space where you feel comfortable expressing yourself and being truly heard. I will walk alongside you as we address everything from your struggles, successes, relationships, and more. Whatever it is that you might want to work on together, my goal is to be instrumental in helping you achieve balance and wellness in your life, however that may look for you. My therapeutic approach is individualized, solution-focused, and strengths-based with an emphasis on examining how our thoughts and beliefs affect our emotions and behaviors. I honor the diversity of all my clients. I am an LGBTQ ally and my preferred pronouns are she/her/hers.

A little bit about myself: I grew up in Virginia on the outskirts of Washington D.C. In regards to my professional background, I received my Bachelor of Science in 2014 as a double major in Psychology and Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University. I then proceeded to obtain my Master of Social Work in 2017 from University of Pittsburgh. Over the past six years since graduating, I have helped individuals from all walks of life in both community-based, non-profit settings as well as in clinical roles at top-ranked hospitals. I provide adults with individual therapy and my specialties are depression, anxiety, self-esteem building, relationship issues, and coping with life changes. I am currently working towards my independent clinical license, and as such, I am operating under the clinical supervision of Kristy Weidner, LCSW.

I look forward to partnering with you as you embark on your new wellness journey through therapy!
