"There is no normal life that is free of pain. It's the very wrestling with our problems that can be the impetus for our growth." - Fred Rogers

It is my goal to provide clients with a safe, non-judgmental and supportive space where they feel comfortable opening up about their mental health struggles. I believe in meeting each person where they are and working alongside them collaboratively to help them face their struggles and turn them into growth. It is my belief that with the right tools and support, each person has the ability to reach their goals and find a sense of inner peace. I believe in using a holistic approach and tailoring therapeutic techniques to each person's unique needs.

I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Mercyhurst College in 2008 and received my Master of Social Work Degree from California University of Pennsylvania in 2010. I obtained by LSW license in 2018. I became a certified Mental Health First Aid instructor in 2021.

I am a licensed social worker with over 12 years of experience working in multiple therapeutic settings, including hospitals, the emergency room, crisis hotlines, and an employee assistance program. I have worked with adults of all ages helping them through anxiety, panic attacks, depression, grief and loss, traumatic stress, abuse, and coping with medical concerns. I also have experience volunteering in a women's shelter with survivors of domestic violence and am a volunteer on the Pittsburgh CISM (Critical Incident Stress Management) team providing crisis response and debriefing for first responders. I have been a volunteer firefighter for 8 years and an EMT for 2 years. I am passionate about helping first responders and their loved ones to cope with the stressors and traumas they face both at work and at home.

I am able to work with individual, adult clients. I specialize in working with first responders, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and health related stressors.
