Life is a rewarding yet difficult journey where individual and relational well-being can be tough to navigate. The therapeutic process can empower people in every aspect of their lives. My specializations are in working with adolescents through their very formative years, helping individuals navigate the struggles and pressures life brings, and coming alongside anyone struggling with or experiencing grief. I have extensive experience counseling people with alcohol and substance use history. My style of counseling is relationship-driven and client-focused.  I use mindfulness techniques to help people live more presently and take in the joys of life. The person is the expert in his or her own life, but sometimes counseling is needed to find a clearer picture of that life. Throughout all of my experiences and all of my passion, one constant remains: relationships heal people.

I graduated from Shippensburg University in 2012 with my Masters in Education, specializing in both mental health and school counseling. In addition to my Masters degree and professional experience, I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). I have experience working in the fields of mental health, substance abuse, and with adolescents. My years of experience have taught me that a counselor cannot simply bring change; instead, it must be a partnership with each individual to search inwardly and seek growth—no matter the size.
